    Monday thru Thursday, Animal Emergency of Gainesville opens at 6 PM and closes at 8 AM the following morning. Friday we open at 6 PM and remain open until 8 AM Monday morning. We are open all day on holidays.

    At Animal Emergency of Gainesville, we treat small animal companions. This includes cats and dogs.

    You don't need to make an appointment. We accept walk-ins only. When you arrive, your pet will be triaged by our medical team to determine the urgency of their condition. Pets in critical condition are seen immediately, while stable patients are seen in the order they arrive. We appreciate your patience as we work to provide timely care for everyone while ensuring that emergencies receive prompt attention.
